When a group member uploads a file with the same name as another group member’s file that is already in the Group Locker, Brightspace will give a warning that the file already exists. This total includes the total number of characters in the file’s path, plus all the characters in the file’s name.

  • Keep the name of your files under 255 charactersĪvoid using special characters mentioned above.
  • Use valid characters when naming a file.
